    Tips: Unshielded proximity sensor installation notes

    The installation of unshielded proximity sensor will encounter many problems. For example, there is interference between proximity sensor and mounting bracket and mutual interference between proximity sensors etc.

    1. If a proximity sensor is installed in a metal bracket, its height of proximity sensor should be more than two times longer than the detection distance. The surrounding metal distance should be as long as the diameter of proximity sensor in order to avoid the influence of bracket.
    2. As for the distance between proximity sensors, the face to face installation distance should be two times longer than the detection distance and the side-by-side distance should be two times longer than the diameter of proximity sensor.
    3. After installation, appropriate testing and measurements can be performed to ensure that the proximity sensor can operate accurately and is not interfered with by surrounding metal objects or adjacent sensors.
